The legend of George Washington is one that reigns supreme over the American countryside. He could not tell a lie. Thus, a Gilbert Stuart portrait of him shows George Washington playing Rock Paper Scissors, specifically paper. Any Rock Paper Scissors player worth their salt knows how easy it is to defeat someone after they have quite literally played their hand. However, to defeat the one of the founding fathers and America’s first President, well, that’s a whole other conundrum.
