Back in the 1980s New York City was a far wilder place. Not reminiscent of its more recent tamed existence, it held artists such as Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat. A truly underrated artist, Jean-Michel Basquiat spoke for those without voice and did so with the utmost of dignity. Sure, while it may be easy to defeat rock in some ways, 1980s Lower East Side of Manhattan rock is a whole other affair, an unruly beast that can do much more than win at Rock Paper Scissors.
