No. Rock Paper Scissors is not in the Olympics.
The reason is not mysterious. Olympic inclusion usually depends on a widely recognized international federation, standardized rules across countries, enough formal competition to show broad participation, and a format that fits the IOC's idea of organized sport. Competitive RPS has rulebooks and tournaments, but it does not yet have universal global structure at that level.
There is also a category problem. The Olympics has been cautious even with other mind sports. Chess is recognized by the IOC but still is not an Olympic event. Rock Paper Scissors faces the same skepticism, plus the extra hurdle that it looks simple to casual viewers even when the competitive layer is more nuanced than people assume.
That does not mean organized RPS is meaningless. It means the Olympic threshold is much higher than having an active community and a few notable events. Until the game has broader international standardization and more institutional backing, it is more accurate to treat Olympic talk as an interesting long-term hypothetical rather than an imminent reality.
