NHL stars Tyler Seguin and Mark Scheifele both have a pre-game ritual: they like to be the last players off the ice before a game starts. To settle this standoff, they turned to a quick and fair solution, Rock Paper Scissors.
In their first matchup, Scheifele came out on top. Seguin didn’t take the loss well. In the next game, instead of going for a clean rematch, he faked out Scheifele to avoid another defeat.
This didn’t sit well with fans, and likely not with Scheifele either. When the two met again, we finally saw Round 2 play out fairly.
Scheifele won again! While both players are elite hockey stars, it seems Scheifele has the edge when it comes to Rock Paper Scissors. The big question now: will Seguin try another fake-out to dodge defeat, or will we get a clean and decisive Round 3?
If Seguin drops three straight matches, maybe a punishment is in order. He should check out our Rock Paper Scissors Strategies, our guide on how to win, or even read the Official Rock Paper Scissors Handbook before the next game.
