WRPSA uses WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the target for wrpsa.com. This statement is a work record, not a site-wide conformance claim: no complete independent WCAG 2.2 audit is attached here. It lists implementation requirements, known limits, the accessibility@wrpsa.com contact, and a target to acknowledge feedback within five business days. Individual routes and game modes still require keyboard, assistive-technology, zoom, contrast, motion, and error-recovery testing.

Our Commitment
WRPSA intends its public information and playable routes to work for people with varied visual, auditory, motor, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological needs. Accessibility depends on the specific interface, input method, content, device, and user; the simplicity of the hand game does not prove that the website or every play mode is accessible.
Standards
The current target is Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. W3C states that conformance applies to complete pages and requires all Level A and AA criteria. WRPSA does not claim complete site-wide conformance without a route-and-state inventory, automated checks, manual evaluation, assistive-technology testing, and documented findings.
Implementation and Verification Requirements
- Use native semantic HTML first and ARIA only where it adds the required name, role, value, state, or relationship
- Measure text, controls, states, focus indicators, and non-text information against the applicable contrast criteria
- Provide and test keyboard operation without traps for every interactive path that claims support
- Test names, roles, values, status changes, errors, focus order, and live updates with named browser and assistive-technology combinations
- Test reflow, orientation, text spacing, target size, and zoom at defined viewport and device conditions
- Provide useful alternatives for non-text content and identify decorative content correctly
- Review flashes, motion, time limits, and physical-reaction risks against the applicable criteria
Game Accessibility
A digital RPS mode is accessible only when its full task works with the user’s input and output needs. The maintained requirements are:
- Document and test the input methods supported by each game mode; provide an equivalent path where the mode claims one
- Expose instructions, countdown, actions, result, score, errors, and recovery in programmatically available text
- Respect reduced-motion preferences and provide controls or alternatives where motion is not essential
- Do not use color as the only way to communicate an action, result, status, error, or focus state
Known Limitations
The current evidence does not support a site-wide conformance claim. Known verification gaps include:
- No complete independent WCAG 2.2 AA audit currently establishes conformance for every public route and state
- Third-party embeds and linked services may have separate accessibility behavior and ownership
- Real-time, timed, camera, video, 3D, canvas, and multiplayer paths need mode-specific assistive-technology and input testing
