Editorial and authorship standard
Reference pages answer the primary question before promotional material, distinguish association policy from general fact, and identify WRPSA as publisher when no individual author has been verified. An organizational byline must link to the organization profile; it must not be converted to a named-person byline without evidence that the person wrote or reviewed the work.
Claims about records, participation, countries, leadership, events, partnerships, or rankings require a first-party record or a reliable independent source. Marketing superlatives and numerical claims are removed when that evidence is unavailable.
Corrections policy
Factual correction requests may be submitted through the contact page. A request should identify the URL, disputed statement, supporting source, and the requested correction. WRPSA reviews the underlying record or source, corrects confirmed errors, updates the substantive-review date, and notes a material correction when the previous wording could have changed a reader's understanding.
Spelling and presentation fixes do not require a correction note. Match, event, ranking, privacy, or safety records follow their dedicated auditable workflows and are not changed only by editing an article.
Research and citation policy
Research claims link to the paper, DOI, publisher, dataset, or official project page whenever available. Summaries state what was tested, the sample size when reported, important limitations, and whether a result has been challenged or failed replication. A study of a particular task or population is not presented as universal proof.
First-party statistics require a stated date range, sample size, inclusion and exclusion rules, unit of analysis, draw and abandonment treatment, privacy threshold, calculation method, version, and downloadable aggregate where safe. Until a WRPSA sample passes that gate, the statistics pages distinguish published third-party research from WRPSA platform data and do not substitute estimates.
Translation and locale-readiness standard
A localized URL is indexable only when its primary content, title, description, navigation context, structured data, and important calls to action have been reviewed as natural native-language content. Machine translation and English fallback text do not qualify. Recognized names, source titles, and quotations may remain in their original language when appropriate.
Pages that have not passed the locale gate are removed from the sitemap and hreflang graph and either redirect to the verified language owner or remain crawlable with a noindex directive. A language or country URL is never created only to target a keyword.
Privacy and public-data standard
Public reports use aggregates and minimum-sample thresholds. They do not expose private match inputs, contact details, private event fields, or regional slices that could identify a participant. Public player, club, referee, and event pages require the applicable consent, completeness, activity, and verification thresholds before indexation.
