WRPSA rankings order active competitors by rating. Results from rated matches update a player’s score, while win-loss records and streaks provide context for the leaderboard. A player appears only after completing recorded matches. Empty positions are never filled with sample names or invented scores.

Ranking methodology and update cadence
The leaderboard includes accounts with at least one recorded match and orders them by current Elo rating, highest first. New eligible results invalidate the leaderboard cache; public reads are cached for 30 seconds, so a settled rating normally appears on the next refresh after that window.
Eligible competitive human modes use the standard Elo expectation formula with K=32. King-of-court results apply half weight. Practice, AI, boss progression, and event open play do not change the public rating. The winning account gains the calculated whole-number change and the losing account loses the same amount, with rating floored at zero.
Win rate is completed wins divided by total recorded matches, rounded to the nearest whole percent. A username, public display name, rating, wins, losses, draws, and streaks may appear in the ranking response; private contact information and individual throw history are not published here.
