Partnership formats
The right format depends on the audience and outcome. A proposal names what exists, what must be produced, and who controls each right.
Tournament sponsorships
Presenting rights, event naming, venue presence, prizes, bracket integrations, and measured post-event reporting for a defined tournament.
Branded player challenges
A filmed or live challenge with an agreed format, approved participants, usage period, territories, channels, and creative review.
Media and broadcast collaboration
Commentary, broadcast graphics, sponsor lines, interviews, short-form content, and press materials matched to the production that is actually commissioned.
Experiential activations
Accessible participation formats for conferences, festivals, workplaces, launches, or community events, with a clear operating and safety plan.
Venue, prize, and in-kind partners
Documented in-kind value and deliverables, with no claim of cash sponsorship or endorsement when the relationship is limited to goods, prizes, or space.
Custom format development
A branded competition or content concept built around WRPSA rules and officiating expertise without presenting an invented format as an existing championship.
What WRPSA can deliver
- • Competition format, ruleset selection, bracket design, and officiating plan.
- • Event-production workflow and public participant information.
- • Player, champion, creator, or spokesperson coordination when separately confirmed.
- • Sponsor placements and content deliverables documented before execution.
- • Measurement from the channels and systems included in the written scope.
- • A closeout record showing completed, waived, and outstanding deliverables.
What is never assumed
- • A future tournament is not sold as confirmed until its date, organizer, format, and operating authority exist.
- • No player, celebrity, venue, broadcaster, or publication is attached without permission.
- • Views, attendance, press coverage, sales, rankings, and search outcomes are not guaranteed.
- • Audience-sensitive creative and product categories require an explicit safety and suitability review.

Partnership FAQ
Does WRPSA sell a fixed sponsorship package?
No. Rights, production, geography, talent, event status, measurement, and category requirements vary. WRPSA provides a written scope and commercial proposal after confirming fit and the deliverables that can actually be supplied.
Can a brand sponsor a future tournament or a specific player?
Potentially. Tournament inventory must exist or be commissioned, and any player or creator involvement requires their agreement, availability, usage rights, and a written scope. No person or event is implied to be attached before those facts are confirmed.
What audience or reach does WRPSA guarantee?
WRPSA does not guarantee unverified impressions, attendance, views, press pickup, search rankings, or sales. A proposal identifies the real distribution plan and the measurements available for that engagement.
Can an activation run outside North America?
Yes when local production, rights, safety, language, and legal requirements can be verified. A worldwide remit does not mean every market or event format is immediately available.
Which sponsor categories are accepted?
Every category is reviewed for legal, safety, audience, conflict, and reputation fit. WRPSA may decline categories or creative that conflict with participant welfare, fair competition, local law, or the association’s standards.
